As Mitsuru placed her hands on her, Fuuka steadied herself, preparing for the worse. Following her advice, she breathed deeply, letting it out in relief when she said Junpei was alive. But the look on the red head's face dissolved any relief.
Nodding silently, Fuuka followed Mitsuru into the hospital room. As Fuuka laid her eyes on Junpei, she let out a strangled sob. Pressing a hand to her mouth, her eyes flew over the monitors. Some of them she recognized, but others were foreign. Then her eyes met the unblinking blue orbs of Aigis, who was stationed at his side, a chord running from her head piece to one of the many machines.
"...Fuuka," she said, her expression softening. "I am monitoring Junpei's status, both his physical and mental state."
Fuuka could only nod, two tears sliding down her face. Reaching out she touched his leg through the blanket.
